Citizens of their very own high-speed world, Thana and Sakhaa Abdul have taken on the blogosphere, and they’re winning. With an Instagram following just shy of 48 thousand, and counting, and a business on the rise, this duo is one to name check. Vogue Arabia takes to the cobbled streets of London with the Saudi sister act behind the fashion blog, The Abduls, to uncover what makes the next generation of Arab women tick.

Twelve years ago, the Abdul family migrated from Medina to the UK capital, with their younger brothers and sisters merrily in tow. Now “home” has two front doors on very different continents. What do they miss the most about living in Saudi? “The food!” they chime in unison.

A typical day for the girls starts off with university classes. Sakhaa aspires to become a lawyer and Thana is majoring in fashion marketing. After class, they devote time to blogging and their latest online venture, Coded Nation—a multi-brand e-commerce boutique where the sisters spotlight emerging designers and up-and-coming brands. “It’s for the daredevils and rebels of the world. It’s not something for everyone, it’s everything for someone,” describes Thana who conceived the idea after she took a gap year from university. I’ve always wanted to do something under the name “Coded Nation,” which is inspired by countries being mapped by dialing codes. At the time, I didn’t exactly know if I wanted it to be a brand or a concept store, I just loved the name,” she said.

Following her year out, Thana returned to school where she was assigned to propose a new business idea for one of her classes. “I thought, ‘Why not present Coded Nation as an online store where it supports emerging designers from all around the world?’” At the time, her teacher wasn’t keen on the project, and she ended up getting the lowest passing grade in her class.

Driven to succeed, Thana shared her idea with Sakhaa, and they both decided to test out launching the boutique with a small collection of logo-printed t-shirts. “We sold out in less than 12-hours,” recalls Thana. “We then received requests from customers asking for custom designs with Coded Nation’s logo on it. Then, we started creating capsule collections and themes in collaboration with startup young designers, to really get to know what our clients liked,” she explains.

As for their individual sartorial choices, Thana and Sakhaa take a contemporary approach. “I personally love Reem Al Kanhal; she’s my favorite Saudi designer. I also like Razan Alazzouni and everybody knows I’m obsessed with Balenciaga,” shares Sakhaa. Meanwhile, Thana is drawn to Japanese labels such as Sacai. “I love the designs,” she says, before listing Arwa Al Banawi, Reem Al Kanhal, and Reemami as her favorite regional labels. Both admire Dubai-based fine jewelry brand Kamushki.

Sakhaa wears jumpsuit, US $675; AED/SAR 2,479, Reem Al Kanhal. Teeshirt, US $39,95; AED/SAR 147, Gap. Hat, US $1,974; AED/SAR 7,251, Stephen Jones Millinery. Sneakers, US $545; AED/SAR 2,550, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane.

The power pair take the Vogue Arabia Q&A test to see who gets a First Class in sibling knowledge:

SAKHAA ON THANA

How would you describe your sister’s style?
I want to say that it’s classy and modern. Thana is very conservative with the way she dresses and she likes to cover up.

What can’t she live without?
Her black bomber jacket, a good pair of jeans, and she has an obsession with white tops.

What’s her favorite accessory?
She’s not really big on accessories, but she can’t leave the house without her stud earrings or she’ll feel unbalanced.

How would you describe your sister’s beauty routine?
She can’t live without mascara. I don’t think she wears concealer, but she puts on a tinted moisturizer for university. When we go out, she’ll add blush or a bronzer.

Who takes the longest to get ready in the morning?
Thana. Every day.

Why does she take so long?
She always changes her outfits. She could change up to six times before leaving the house because she hates how unpredictable the weather is [in London].

What kind of music does she listen to?
She’s very into Arabic music. I want to say Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Abadi Al-Johar, and Nawal El Kuwaitia.

Who takes the longest to pack?
Not me, for sure. I have hardly anything in my suitcase. I pack light so that I have an excuse to buy new stuff.

2-saudi-sisters-the-abduls-thana-sakhaa

Thana wears silk blazer, US $885; AED/SAR 3,250, Arwa Al Banawi. Crew teeshirt, US $20; AED/SAR 73, Gap. Trousers, US $539, AED/SAR 1,979, Racil at Matches. Boots, US $499; AED/SAR 1,833, Anine Bing. Sunglasses, US $595; AED/SAR 2,185, Cutler and Gross. Velvet choker with sapphire, US $3,600; AED/SAR 13,503, Kamushki at The Shop at Bluebird. Necklace, US $1,480; AED/SAR 5,436, Kamushki at Browns
Sakhaa wears jumpsuit, US $675; AED/SAR 2,479, Reem Al Kanhal. Teeshirt, US $39,95; AED/SAR 147, Gap. Hat, US $1,974; AED/SAR 7,251, Stephen Jones Millinery. Shoes, US $1,100; AED/SAR 3,235, Stella Mc Cartney.

THANA ON SAKHAA

How would you describe your sister’s style?
She’s really rebellious when it comes to style, but I love how she pulls it off with confidence.

What can’t she live without?
She’s always in her Balenciaga boots. Those, I’ve never worn, and we usually share so many things. Whether it’s a t-shirt, jeans, or a bag—if it’s Balenciaga, I can’t go near it.

What about accessories?
Bracelets. She wears a lot of Monica Vinader and Balenciaga as well.

How would you describe your sister’s beauty routine?
Sakhaa is very creative when it comes to makeup. She doesn’t admit it, but I know she is. She taught me how to use banana powder. She likes to wear black contact lenses to make her eyes look bigger. When it comes to products, she usually wears mascara, BB cream, and little bit of highlighter.

Who takes the longest in the morning?
Definitely me. I’m very indecisive. I’ll wear something, leave the house, and as soon as I reach the elevator, I’ll turn around and go back in and change because I change my mind with the weather. I can’t depend on my weather apps.

What’s your sister’s signature scent?
She likes Miss Dior. My mom bought it for her when she turned 12 and she still wears it a lot.

What kind of music does she listen to?
She always makes me listen to Daughter and Lana del Rey. I don’t get those music vibes. She also loves J. Cole, and she’s into rap and hip hop.

Who takes the longest to pack?
Me. I hate when I arrive somewhere and realize that I’ve forgotten something. Sakhaa is a very light packer, and when we get to the destination, she always asks if she can borrow something from me.

Why Sarah Al Wazzan is Your Menswear Style Muse

Looking to step out of your comfort zone? Follow Sarah Al Wazzan’s lead and start navigating menswear. The Kuwaiti owner of the children’s boutique, Panacheous; seasoned fashion week-goer; and mother of four, strikes a chord for both her maximalist aesthetic and keen eye on menswear.

“It all began when I took a peek at the Louis Vuitton men’s section. There, I found an oversized cargo jacket with big patches—which I thought at the time wasn’t very Louis Vuitton of Louis Vuitton. I tried it on and just couldn’t take it off,” says Al Wazzan while in conversation with Vogue Arabia. The jacket was plucked from the French House’s Spring 2014 menswear collection by creative director Kim Jones.

Following her covetable find, Al Wazzan’s borrowed-from-the-boys collection expanded when she picked up a printed button-down men’s shirt from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Pre-Fall 2014 Dallas showcase. “Karl [Lagerfeld] has never designed a standalone men’s collection for Chanel, and that makes this piece extra special,” she says. Al Wazzan delved deeper into menswear when she attended her first men’s Milan Fashion Week and took a front row seat at the Gucci Fall 2016 show. “It was absolutely fun and I felt right at home. There were so many pretty pieces that aren’t available for women. And, because it was a men’s show, it felt very exclusive—like I was in a secret world of my own,” she reminisces. Among the pieces Al Wazzan eyed: a lurex knit jacket, a seafoam velvet robe, a powder blue jacquard suit (which the Italian label adapted in her size), and an embroidered top (spotted on creative director Alessandro Michele in a recent Instagram post). Al Wazzan rounded out her selection with a floral tapestry jacket darted with studs, an appliqué sweater, and a tasseled wool hat with a monster motif.

Yves Saint Laurent championed menswear-inspired styling for women with his Le Smoking tuxedo. First designed in 1966, the iconic suit was charged with sensuality and served as an alternative to the little black dress. Grande dame of French cinema, Catherine Deneuve, was the first to wear the empowering silhouette the following year, while Bianca Jagger made a bold statement at the alter when she married Mick Jagger in a white Le Smoking jacket. In Woody Allen’s 1977 film, Annie Hall, Diane Keaton’s character wore neckties, vests, and bowler hats that continue to serve as an inspiration today when appropriating menswear.

As for Al Wazzan, she grounds her self-titled “soft and rough” style by merging her masculine silhouettes with delicate and feminine pieces. “I once wore my Louis Vuitton jacket with a leather short pleated skirt and tie-belt. The contrast was beautiful to me,” she says. As Al Wazzan continues to tip her hat to menswear, we ask what men’s clothes she has on her radar. “I have my eyes on some Dolce & Gabbana pieces,” she smiles.

3 Key Trends for Head-Turning Street Style Beauty

The show-stopping red lips, eyebrow-skimming bangs, and “the bigger-the-better” hair snapped on showgoers from New York to Paris offered a fresh take on the no makeup-makeup scene on the runways. Bold fire-engine pouts dominated the streets this season. A swipe of crimson was all that was needed to get actress Jessica Alba and street style stars Caroline Vreeland and Chiara Ferragni front row ready.

Bangs—which first kicked off in New York when Alexander Wang sent models with freshly snipped fringes down the runway—proved to be a hit on the streets of Milan and Paris. Street style stars, including Anna del Russo and Akimoto Koezu, departed from the shaggy, surfer bangs spotted at Alexander Wang or the micro-fringes at Jeremy Scott, and instead opted for an eye-skimming set.

Fearless hair statements were the breakout trend from the season. Case in point: Yasmin Sewell’s freshly snipped coils. And she wasn’t the only one. The sea of free-spirited fuzz snapped on showgoers this season supported the idea of embracing what you’re born with.

Nothing But Net: Legs Steal the Spotlight in Fishnet Tights

$

They conjure up images of flapper girls, you’ve seen them in ‘80s music videos, and they have a vixen allure. Fishnet tights, the knitted, diamond-shaped hosiery that come in dense or large gauged styles have eased their way back into the spotlight. Designer labels such as Max Mara, Jeremy Scott, Antonio Marras, and Moschino focused on legs throughout their Fall 2016 collections by styling models in the seductive accessory. Meanwhile, at Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld coupled the netted material with sock boots in an opaque aesthetic.

When did the bold legwear get its start? Following the end of the Victorian era in 1901, hemlines rose. However, women didn’t go bare-legged and wore stockings that were held up by garter belts. Then, in the ‘20s flapper girls – specifically showgirls – slipped on fishnet stockings under their straight-cut dresses. By the ’50s, pin-up girls such as Bettie Page wiggled their way into the seductive apparel. However, by the ‘60s, women liberated themselves from stockings and garter belts and opted for body-sheathing tights. It was not until the ‘70s that fishnet tights took on a different tone and were associated with punk subculture. Along with latex, chains, and ripped clothes, fishnet tights were a fashion focal point in the rebellious movement that went against mainstream norms. During this period, they were often worn torn and distressed.

When the ‘80s arrived, the mesh material evolved from tights and took shape in the form of gloves, tops, and bodysuits. A decade later, it became popular to wear fishnet tights under ripped jeans and shifted from an unorthodox piece of clothing to acceptable legwear. Today, fishnet tights have found their way back into the sock drawer in a range of designs that seesaw from large loose, web-like tights, to micro-knit styles that can be worn with a plethora of sartorial looks.

In the gallery above, Vogue Arabia tracks the street style trend with five ways to work the bold hosiery into your outfit.

Decoding Imaan Hammam’s Off-Duty Style

Leggy Moroccan-Egyptian model Imaan Hammam is at the top of her game. The 20-year-old with lust-worthy corkscrew locks has built an impressive resume through a fast-track career brimming with shows for major designer brands, covers, and campaigns since she made her first runway appearance at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2013 Couture show. But when she’s not strutting catwalks and attending swanky soirées, Hammam is spotted on the street style circuit with a bad-girl, grungy vibe.

To crack the code on Hammam’s off-the-runway sartorial formula, think inflated bombers coupled with denims in contrasting proportions. Hammam knows the power of a good biker jacket to add edge to an all-black ensemble, while a roomy, oversized sweatshirt is her go-to for darting between shows during fashion month. Hammam gravitates towards a monochromatic palette of neutral shades of gray, navy, and black that she elevates with utilitarian pieces and army green separates. During the evening hours, Hammam stays true to her signature look that she lifts through sheer silhouettes peppered with feminine accents such as somber floral prints or subtle embellishments. For accessories, she grounds her understated approach to dressing through strappy sandals, sneakers, or sleek boots that are accompanied with a jumbo tote or a structured cross-body slung over her shoulder.

Take a page from Hammam’s off-duty playbook by clicking through her standout looks in the gallery above.

Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2016. Indigital

Patent leather and its vegan cousin PVC are the surprise breakout trends of the Fall 2016 collections. At Chanel Fall 2016, bouclé twinsets and edgy pearls were juxtaposed with high-shine leather skirts – crinkled, for added edge. At Anthony Vaccarello, Louis Vuitton, Isabel Marant, and Bottega Veneta, the glossy leather and plastic-fantastic look prevailed in a deceptively wearable way.

Chanel Fall 2016. Indigital

There’s no greater barometer for how versatile a runway look is than on the street style circuit, where the fashion masterclass really begins. The likes of Linda Tol and Candela Novembre have taken to wearing glossed up leather with aplomb, taming it with denim or knitwear, while experimental Italian designer Gilda Ambrosio mixes hers with athleisure. Clearly, it’s the trend of style rebels.

Whether you are in chilly Kuwait or in balmy Riyadh, Vogue Arabia uncovers 3 easy ways to wear patent leather or PVC now for all regional winters.

Ways To Wear: If PVC pencil skirts work in late summer in NYC then, yes, you can wear them in Saudi Arabia. Wear yours with an oversized cotton T-shirt, supersized sunglasses and evening flats.

Go-To Brands: Givenchy and J.W.Anderson.

Ways to Wear: Bold PVC trousers can be tamed and made to work for all weathers with textured layering. If the mercury is rising, go for a premium jersey T-shirt, or a slimline linen shirt. If the air is crisp, wear them with a mohair cover-up and a silk camisole underneath.

Go-To Brands: Anthony Vaccarello and Mango.

Ways to Wear: If it’s too hot to wear a patent-leather trench coat, but you still want to integrate the look into your wardrobe rotation, layer a glossy bodice top over super-fine knitwear to cover up with an edge.

Go-To Brands: Louis Vuitton, Acne Studios and Topshop Unique.

The Brand That Arab Street Stylers Have Fallen For

“The reconstructed jeans are a favorite, which I have teamed with a Nike top and Mansur Gavriel white slides.” Courtesy of Dalia Nsouli

If you haven’t jumped on board the Vetements train, it’s time to get hooked. The brand on everyone’s lips has garnered a loyalist following since its Fall 2014 debut collection for its high-end, streetwear-driven appeal. Helmed by Demna Gvasalia, his brother Guram and a team of anonymous collective designers, the Parisian powerhouse has pushed the fashion envelope through its widely recognizable designs, such as patchwork jeans, extra-long sleeved hoodies, oversized boxy-shoulder silhouettes, and floral prairie dresses.

The young label’s alternative take on streetwear has quickly gained universal popularity amid fashion insiders, evident by the surge of street style sightings in the last two Fashion Months. Among fashion aficionados flying the Vetements flag is Lebanese-American Dalia Nsouli. The Doha-based corporate banker wears a pair of reconstructed jeans and python booties on rotation, and currently has her eye on a pair of the brand’s sweatpants. Telling Vogue Arabia what captured her attention about that brand, Nsouli notes, “They turned basics into super basics with their broad shoulders and oversized fit. It’s not so much pretty as it is creative, eye-catching and bold, which for me is attractive.” Nsouli, who gravitates to denims and clashing prints, describes her style as experimental and temperamental: “I love mixing and never matching.”

Notorious for its disproportions and unconventional cuts, one might wonder how to style the brand. Take a cue from Nsouli who likes to style her Vetements pieces with virtually everything in her closet: “I either dress up the jeans with a fancy voluminous top by Rosie Assoulin or wear them during the day with an oversized white, crisp shirt. I would definitely wear the sweatpants with strappy heals and a silk camisole, and I would wear their shell bombers over a fancy evening gown,” she explains.

“This sweatshirt is quite a statement piece. I can wear it with opaque tights and sneakers for a casual look, or play it up with contrasting textures, like this structured faux-croc skirt.” Courtesy of Taiba Al Nassar

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti teenager Taiba Al-Nassar, also known as “The Urban Analyst”, is drawn to the brand because it resonates with her personal style. Streetwear labels such as Hood By Air and Hyein Seo as well as elements of punk culture through Vivienne Westwood typically make their way into her closet, too: “My wardrobe fuses unique pieces that I come across with elements of my Kuwaiti roots,” says Al-Nassar about her sartorial expression.

While sporting one of the brand’s It items, the Titanic hoodie, telling Vogue Arabia, “It is incredibly versatile, I can go just about anywhere sporting it. I have worn the sweatshirt at London Fashion Week, yet also wear it to chill with friends and run errands.” Between Nsouli’s and Al-Nassar’s distinct styles, the eclectic label is far from a challenge to pull off.

A woman’s ardour for her handbag is distinctive. While it’s fun to dabble with the latest arm-candy trends (remember Anya Hindmarch’s Crisp Packet bag, or Charlotte Olympia’s Barbie World perspex clutch?), the new wave handbags and the iconic greats are the ones to rely on 24/7.

Think the Chanel 2.55, the Gucci saddle bag, and the Hermès Birkin for eternal elegance. Equally, the new designer handbags for 2016 have seen the likes of the Loewe Puzzle take on many different colors and skins, while the Gucci Dionysus has been a magnet for street style photographers. Vogue Arabia investigates who is wearing what (and how) on the international fashion scene.

The trapeze silhouette of the large Fendi 3Jours bag is crafted in an Italian leather workshop, beloved to fashion editors for its versatility and roominess (MacBook, flat shoes, runway notes et al fit inside nicely). Take it to the next level with the addition of a mini bag looped around the handles. Experiment with a more-is-more approach when wearing dialled down colors.

Shortened straps on cross body bags are the breakout street style trend of the moment. From the Spring 2017 runways (as seen at Prada, Céline, Gucci, and Proenza Schouler) to the fashion month attendees, the look is in. Shorten those straps quick.

While the Petite Malle clutch has been a front row favorite for seasons, some LVs never leave the street style wires. Classic silhouettes and uncluttered detailing lends itself to pared back black shift dresses and longline threads. Cue the timeless appeal of Louis Vuitton’s City Steamer MM. Limited edition two-tone detailing scores extra style points.

Thana and Sakhaa Abdul. Courtesy of The Abduls

Saudi-sisters Thana and Sakhaa of The Abduls packed a punch on Instagram this week in poppy red monochrome outfits. The London-based sibling duo behind the multi-brand e-commerce website Coded Nation both donned head-to-toe crimson ensembles. Thana opted for a fit-and-flare dress by British brand Alistair James paired with a suede a backpack, while Sakhaa evoked a preppy aesthetic in red high-waist Sonia Rykiel jeans and an Anine Bing biker jacket. She topped of her look with a Brigitte Bardot-inspired beret by Gucci.

Deviating from minimal territory, the monochrome trend in bold colors has gained traction amid designer collections. For Spring 2017, a plethora of saturated hues were interpreted by a pairing of separates in the same shade, as imagined by creative director Olivier Rousteing for Balmain . Meanwhile, Maison Rabih Kayrouz and Courrèges created head-to-toe silhouettes in striking tones of violet and yellow. Colorful monochrome ensembles were also a street style standout – designer Gilda Ambrosio and blogger Camille Charrière both showcased singular color ensembles with aplomb. The trick is to break up the palette with textures and contrasting shades; the beauty of this styling move is the elongating effect that it creates. Through long lines, monochrome instantly gives the illusion of height.

Ready to make a bold move? Take note of the street style examples that drive you to make a major sartorial impact, below.

10 Street Style Trends That Defined 2016

As the year comes to an end, we round up the street style trends that shaped 2016. We saw the return of the choker in all its ’90s glory, closet staples reimagined, and pajamas emerging from the bedroom. While all eyes were on shoulders and deconstructed tops became wardrobe hero pieces, velvet and corsets were the game changers for fall. Ahead, we round-up the 10 street style trends that defined 2016 and the fashion-forward people who wore them.

CHOKERS

The choker has come a long way since the ‘90s, and 2016 had the fashion set in a chokehold with the velvet neck jewelry. Street style stars, celebrities, and Gigi Hadid along with her circle of model friends rocked the choker in styles that ranged from classic velvet strips, thick bands and pin-thin metal designs.

VINTAGE BAND T-SHIRTS

The rise in tour merch also saw the surge in vintage band T-shirts. Style stars traveled back in time and represented their tribe with retro concert toppers that were counter balanced with current pieces such as frayed jeans or glossy trench coats, and layered under slip dresses.

CORSET BELTS

One of fall’s biggest accessories trends was the corset belt. Cotton designs styled purposely undone over coats à la Prada or structured versions coupled with shirts and dresses, either way the corset won the hearts of the fashion crowd in 2016.

PUFFER COATS

Functional and fashionable, the puffer coat came in a multitude of colors and shielded Fashion Week goers from the polar vortex winds with flair. The humble coat, which became an internet sensation after the release of Drake’s Hotline Bling video, saw the down feather coat gain traction on the runway at Balenciaga , Marques ‘Almeida, and Alexander McQueen.

COLD SHOULDER

One of the most exhausted styles of the year would have to be the off-the-shoulder silhouette. Having reached peak trend, the design seen on tops and dresses evoked a flirty vibe without overexposing skin, which is what made the shoulder-baring top appealing.

TROPHY TOPS

rachael-wang-copia

Deconstructed shirts featuring extra-long sleeves, extended cuffs, and ruffles go hand-in-hand with buzzword of the year: Vetements. The Paris-based collective known for its offering of disheveled silhouettes, boxy shirts and oversized cuts is one of the noteworthy brands that rewrote the rules on the classic button-down. Meanwhile, up-and-coming label Monse and French brand Jacquemus took closet staples such as blazers, dresses and shirts to the next level with a modified and deconstructed twist.

METALLIC PLEATED SKIRTS

Iridescent, knife-pleated, midi skirts gained a following since Alessandro Michele introduced shimmery variations at his debut Gucci Fall 2015 collection. Synonymous with the Italian label, the feminine, light-reflecting skirt emerged on the street style circuit in heavy rotation through gilded styles and kaleidoscope stripes that brought a hint of sparkle to daywear outfits.

BAND JACKETS

The military-inspired band jacket decorated with embroidered regalia was one of the statement-making outer layer trends that didn’t go unnoticed, appearing at brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Burberry. Members of the street style pack tackled the trend by styling the jacket as the focal point of their outfits.

BOUDOIR DRESSING

Pajama sets and lingerie-inspired designs including robes, slip dresses, and silky camisoles made their way out of the bedroom and saw the light of day. The relaxed mood was elevated by way of piped, button-down shirts coupled with matching trousers and accessorized with heels or structured handbags. Meanwhile, slinky frocks were layered over cotton t-shirts that evoked a laid back vibe.

VELVET

Washed in rich jewel-tones, velvet had a major moment for fall, where the regal fabric found its into every silhouette imaginable. From dresses, separates and suits coated in the lush textile to accessories such as heels, boots and handbags, the plush material made a big impact across the board.

The collective fashion consciousness has moved on to yet another color palette for the transitioning season. At the Haute Couture and NYC Menswear shows, we spotted dashes of burgundy worn with beige and black. The rich, wintry hue has made a sartorial play across the outfits of the front row in the form of silken bombers (worn off one shoulder, naturally), blended with classic camel chinos for the boys, and as an elegant color contrast with steely gray woolens for the girls. Vogue Arabia decodes the look in the best burgundy moments fresh from fashion week, and shops the hue in current season hijabs, bags, and dresses, so you can activate the look now.

5 Predictions for Victoria Beckham’s Fall ’17 Collection

Victoria Beckham takes a turn on the runway after her Spring 2017 collection show at New York Fashion Week. Indigital

‘90s pop star turned design maestro Victoria Beckham will be prepping at pace for her fashion house’s big Fall 2017 collection reveal at NYFW. True to form, the designer has served as the ultimate billboard for her brand’s fashion signature in the form of full runway looks applied to everyday life. The British designer has been spotted working her new-season pin heels––now available for pre-order online––with relaxed (borderline slouching) tailored trousers, deftly kept in place by a tan belt and finished with a semi-tuck, fine knit sweater. No matter what hour the clock points to, oversized sunglasses are firmly set in place, with the half-moon Victoria Beckham handbag in tow. It’s clear to see what silhouette Beckham is gravitating towards for her upcoming collections, based on what she’s wearing upon exiting her NY hotels. The style predictions for Victoria Beckham Fall 2017 are in, inspired by five versatile and easygoing glamour-fuelled outfits from VB of late. Vogue Arabia decodes the clues.

Prediction #1

Hip-slung pants in loose-fit, floor-skimming lengths are in VB’s favor. Expect this look dotted throughout the winter offering.

Prediction #2

Normally the ultimate accessories co-ordinator, VB relaxes her approach and clashes white leather with tan. Vogue Arabia will be on the lookout for unexpected contrasts.

Prediction #3

Look-at-me colors are to be embraced around the clock. The fashion house opted for splashes of sea foam green in its Spring 2017 collection; we’re on the lookout for bolder blues and turquoises to add vibrancy to fall.

Prediction #4

Heritage prints could feature throughout the British brand’s Fall ’17 collection. Expect to see a nod to the fashion establishment.

Prediction #5

As seen on Selena Gomez, this Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall ’17 dress is a winner of color blending––orange and mustard work well together, always. The nonchalant cut of this midi dress looks like a new staple silhouette for the brand––one we hope to see in the fall lineup.
