Last week’s best fashion Instagrams came loaded with prints and patterns. Case in point: Milan Fashion Week. At the Gucci Spring 2017 ready-to-wear show, luxury consultant Aureta Thomollari donned a vintage, printed kaftan complete with matching headscarf by Bill Blass. She styled her metallic look with oversized, embellished sunglasses from Gucci. Meanwhile, Caroline Issa was spotted backstage following Alessandro Michele’s latest collection debut in one of the label’s elaborate hats.
Elsewhere, Beyoncé sported a burgundy, printed ensemble while visiting her hometown of Houston, Texas. Across the Atlantic, French blogger Jeanne Damas reached for a corduroy blazer, velvet Isabel Marant ankle boots, and a relaxed T-shirt in a rust color palette.
Ahead of the Fenty X Puma Spring 2017 show (scheduled to take place during Paris Fashion Week), Rihanna took to the Global Citizen Festival stage in a pinstriped blazer, Edwardian-sleeved blouse, and tinted shades. In a similar borrowed-from-the-boys move, DJ twins Simi & Haze (Sama and Haya Khadra) styled their tailored outfits with graphic T-shirts.
